On the Other Hand

This is the news--good and bad. I am much, much better. Thank you all for your prayers and comments! On the other hand, Joshua is sick. : ( So, I would really appreciate it if you could pray for him to get better soon.
He would appreciate the prayers as well.

The Matched Quotation post will be coming later......

Under the Weather

Alright, last night I was not feeling well. I am doing (kind of) somewhat better today, but not totally well. I think it is just something that will pass soon. :) (I hope)

A couple Bible verses that have spoken to me lately are the following:

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one."
~2 Thessalonians 3:3~

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline."

~2 Timothy 1:7~

The next 'Matched Quotation' post may come tomorrow or a day after. God bless you all!

A Sudden Realization...(#3)

...I forgot to post Matched Quotation #3 the other day! Sorry about that. So, here it is:

"And may that Being who is supreme over all, the Patron of order, the Fountain of justice, and the Protector, in all ages of the world, of virtuous liberty, continue His blessing upon this nation and its government, and give it all possible success and duration, consistent with the ends of His providence." [Inaugural Address]

Standing For Christ

I understand that so many things have been discussed about a much-needed talk as: abortion. All I am going to say is what I wrote in a journal entry for my English 103 class:

When is a baby alive? Wow, what a question. Am I able to easily answer that question? I can honestly say ‘at conception‘. Some believe it is when the baby is born or they think a baby is just a fetus. The question ‘when is a baby alive’ is easy to answer. Do you think the baby is alive the day before he is born or the day before that? What about the day after that day? Yes, he is alive then. However, people do not want to hear such a thing, because they understand that babies are alive throughout the entire pregnancy. Going from the point of when babies are alive to the important topic as abortion. One view to this argument is the choice of the mother, not of the living human being inside of her. For example, a place like Planned Parenthood almost ‘encourages’ young girls to get an abortion if that is their desire instead of honestly pointing out that the little one inside her womb is just as alive as she is. I believe I need to share something that was recently shared on ‘Stand to Reason’--a true story from Lisa Harris. She was 18 weeks pregnant while aborting an 18-week old baby. As she grabbed the 18-week old baby’s foot and leg with her forceps, “I felt a kick-a fluttery ‘thump, thump’ in my own uterus. It was one of the first times I felt fetal movement”. Lisa goes on to say that as she held the aborted baby’s foot and leg in her forceps, she felt a living being move in her abdomen. My point is to hopefully reveal the ultimate reality that young women hold living beings in their wombs, not defined as a large mass of tissue. It has hands, feet, and arms and legs just as we do. So, when is a baby alive? I believe a baby is alive at conception and every day after that.

What is your view on abortion? Please, if you are pro-choice (for the mothers to decide and not realizing that human beings [babies] are the ones you are aborting) and decide to comment on this post, choose your words carefully. I do not agree with using bad words on my blog. Thank you and God bless you all!

The link to the 'Stand to Reason' blog about Lisa Harris is here. I do want to say something, though. I know that there are dear young brothers and sisters in Christ who read my blog, and please, any links on my blog, do respect your parents and have them look it over with you. So, in this article, it is quite descriptive in how Harris used her words with how she aborted a baby. Please, please; do not ever think you have to see and look over every link I attach in my posts. I usually do it as copyright purposes. I so appreciate you guys, my readers, and I pray that your desire is to honor Christ and respect your parents. God bless you all and  your families! :)
Feel free to comment if you agree or something that would be better to say in this situation. I honor godly opinions on such matters.

Matched Quotation #2
